Cancelled

FamilyLife Weekend Getaway marriage conference - Waskesiu Lake, SK

Waskesiu Lake, SK Apr 24-26, 2020

Cancellation Notice:

Dear registered guests,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as circumstances continue to evolve rapidly. We care about your marriage and have so much been looking forward to hosting you at the Weekend Getaway at Waskesiu Lake. Due to the present health crisis, however, we’ve had to make the decision to cancel the event. Your health and safety is of utmost importance to us, which is why we’ve been following Canada’s public health directives closely. As you know, each of us as citizens are being asked to make sacrifices to implement social distancing to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect our more vulnerable neighbours. It is our prayer that in the coming weeks and months, you will grow closer as a family and as a couple through these uncertain times.

We are in discussions with Elk Ridge Resort about possibly rescheduling this conference to the fall or next spring, and we will let you know as soon as a decision has been reached. All registrants will maintain a full credit towards the next conference in the region, or any future Weekend Getaway anywhere in Canada. Your credit will not expire. If you prefer to receive a refund, we will provide that to you in full and will waive the usual $30 cancellation fee. You will be sent an email soon with a form to indicate which option you prefer.

You do not need to call Elk Ridge Resort to cancel your accommodation. They will automatically cancel all bookings for that weekend and follow up with you separately. Your room deposit will be reimbursed back on to the credit card which you used. If you have made arrangements to stay elsewhere, please call soon to cancel.

If you have any questions at all, please email events@familylifecanada.com or call 1-800-247-3180. Please know that you are in our prayers. We look forward to hosting you at a Weekend Getaway in the future.

With love and concern,

FamilyLife Canada
