...doing great, in a tough place or anywhere in between. FamilyLife speakers are passionate about helping couples. The goal of each event is to provide practical wisdom, based on Biblical principles, that will create long lasting, deeply satisfying relationships.

Marriage Mentor Training

Half Day Event

Marriage Mentoring makes a difference, and could be the answer to significantly improve a marriage. In this workshop, you will learn the core skills of mentoring another couple. You will also be given a Mentor Conversation Guide. With additional training, you can learn how to build a marriage mentoring ministry in your church or community. Mentoring is a great way to be a HomeBuilder!

Neal & June Black

June & Neal married in 1984, they live in Langley, BC and have two grown daughters. Neal works with Leadership Development at Power to Change and June does video and office support for FamilyLife. Together they speak at One Day FamilyLife events.

Sherman & Sarah Hu

Married in 1995, Sherman and Sarah are the parents of two teenagers. Sherman is a web marketing strategist, consulting for business owners on their web properties. His measure of success, however, is the love and respect of his family. Sarah is an actor and director in theatre. Together they love to mentor young couples through the marriage maze.

Neil & Sharol Josephson

Neil and Sharol are the directors of FamilyLife Canada and have been ministering to couples as marriage and family pastors for years.
They are frequent speakers at the Weekend Getaway and their sense of humour, love for God, and passion for families endear them to people of all ages.

Dave & Rushia Klassen

Dave and Rushia have worked with Athletes in Action since 1989 and have been speaking at Familylife conferences for 15 years. Their funny, candid and honest approach to sharing make them easy and enjoyable to listen to.

Brad & Sylvia Thompson

Brad and Sylvia married in 1983, they live in Waterloo, ON and have been gifted with two daughters, one son-in-law, and three grandsons.

Brent & Céleste Trickett

Brent and Céleste married in 2000, they have four children and reside in Saskatoon, SK.

Mike & Karen Woodard

Mike and Karen married in 1978, they have four adult children and two grandsons. Together they speak at BC FamilyLife events.
